Ms. Miranda and I are sitting at a Starbucks on Columbus and 86th as I write this! Many of you should remember this neighborhood from last year! It's right by the New York Historical Society and the American Museum of Natural History.
We're excited to be teaching you Math, ELA and Social Studies this year! It's going to be a lot of work, but a lot of fun too!!
Tuesday we're going to be going over the basics, so we can have a productive year.
We also have an awesome trip planned on Friday! We're going to be the only class in the whole school that gets to go on a field trip the first week of school! Ms. Jelinek and my friend Karina will be coming on the trip too. (Karina came at the end of the year last year. She brought you all donuts!)
It's always hard to fall asleep the night before the first day! Try to get some rest, we have a lot to do tomorrow!!

You will pass every single subject. Your goal is not to pass, your goal is to get 90s!!! It is certainly what you are capable of.
If you need help with Science, Ms. Jelinek and Ms. Flores will definitely help you!
